Brake, transmission, exhaust and glass work is often done by specialty shops that see the same job dozens of times a week. Brake shops replace pads and rotors the same day and usually inspect for free; transmission shops rebuild or replace automatics and clutches, a multi-day job that deserves a second quote; muffler and exhaust shops weld custom pipes and replace catalytic converters, which in many states must meet emissions rules. Alignment and suspension shops fix pulling, uneven tire wear and worn shocks, and radiator shops handle overheating and cooling-system leaks. Auto glass shops replace windshields, often at your home or office, and recalibrate the driver-assistance cameras mounted behind the glass. Window tinting and car audio shops round out the group.

Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bronx follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I came to New York from Canada for a family vacation, and unfortunately, I accidentally shattered my rear window while backing up at Manhattan Plaza Parking. Thank God I found Axel, who was able to replace my car window right away. He truly saved our family vacation! The repair shop has very reasonable prices, and the service was absolutely amazing. Axel was extremely patient, professional, and helpful. The best part is that no appointment is needed — they can replace your window right away! It took only about an hour to completely clean up all the broken glass and fully repair the window. I highly recommend Axel and his team. Thank you so much for helping us when we really needed it!

I found this place through Google reviews and I decided to go because so many people gave them 5 stars. At first, I wasn’t sure if it would really be that good but after the service I completely understood why they have such great reviews. The price was really good and they finished replacing my Toyota passenger side rear window in less than 30 minutes. They worked very quickly and professionally and you could tell they were very experienced. They even vacuumed the inside of my car and cleaned up the remaining broken glass pieces. I came from New Jersey, so I had to cross the GW Bridge, but even with the toll, it was still much cheaper than other places. The location was also very convenient because it was only about 5 minutes after crossing the bridge. Overall, I’m very happy with the service, price, and quality. Highly recommend!

My rear passenger window was pried and broken into in Brooklyn last night, and was asking around for a repair shop. Axel was highly recommended and I can now see why they’re the only 5 star auto glass shop! I contacted Axel on instagram at 8, he checked inventory and got back to me with a quote within minutes. I really appreciate the timeliness in these situations especially when it’s about to rain all weekend. Axel and team did a FANTASTIC job with the window replacement and interior cleanup. He also went beyond to fix the plastic trim that was pried off!!! I highly recommend MATA’s auto glass, you can contact Axel directly through mobile, instagram, or tiktok!
